My Workmanship Promise
Benner Built takes pride in building pieces meant to be used and enjoyed. If you believe your piece has a problem caused by my workmanship, contact me with a description and clear photos so I can review it.
Limited Workmanship Warranty
Unless a project agreement states otherwise, I warrant my workmanship for one year from delivery or pickup to the original purchaser. If I determine that a covered workmanship defect exists, I may repair the piece, correct the affected component, or provide another reasonable remedy at my discretion.
[TO COMPLETE: Confirm whether you want a one-year workmanship warranty before publishing.]

Commercial use unless it was disclosed and approved for the project
Customer-supplied materials or design requirements against my recommendation
Everyday Care
Dust with a soft, dry cloth and clean with a slightly damp cloth when needed.
Dry spills promptly and do not allow water to stand on the surface.
Avoid harsh cleaners, abrasive pads, silicone polishes, and strong chemicals.
Use coasters, trivets, placemats, and felt pads where appropriate.
Do not place hot cookware or appliances directly on the wood.
Maintain a stable indoor environment when possible; extreme humidity changes can cause wood movement.
Lift furniture when moving it rather than dragging it.
Cutting Boards and Food-Contact Pieces
Hand-wash promptly with mild soap and warm water; do not soak.
Do not place in a dishwasher.
Dry upright with airflow on both sides.
Reapply a food-safe board oil or conditioner when the wood looks dry.
Outdoor Pieces
Outdoor wood requires ongoing maintenance. Keep the piece clean, avoid prolonged standing water, and inspect the finish regularly. Recoat with a compatible exterior product as needed. Cover or store the piece during severe weather or long periods of non-use when practical.
Making a Warranty Request
Contact me with your name, project description, date received, photos of the entire piece and affected area, and an explanation of the conditions in which the piece has been used and stored.
